You can’t separate watermelon with summer season. The fruit for summer season is watermelon. Even one can find watermelon throughout the year but the season of watermelon is summer. In summer season, watermelon is of better quality and also more sweet.

No other fruit can stand in front of watermelon in summer season. The main point is that watermelon contains huge content of water in it. That’s why it can be considered as “king of fruits” in summer season.

Watermelon is also a great source of energy which keeps your body healthy during summer. The best benefit of watermelon is for men because it  has the properties to overcome fertility problems. A study shows that men who eat watermelon frequently have less fertility problems than other people.

The various health benefits of watermelon include good source of minerals and vitamins, fight against heart diseases, act as antioxidant, preventing erectile dysfunction in men, reduce risk of cancer etc.

Watermelon is rich in B-vitamins. These vitamins are quite helpful for our body to produce energy. It simply means watermelon provides you energy required by your body. You can replace your energy drinks with watermelon even.

The presence of vitamin A and vitamin C in watermelon makes it a powerful antioxidant. Also it contains powerful antioxidant beta-carotene which helps our body to prevent from various diseases. It helps our body to prevent heart disease, asthma, cancer etc.

Antioxidants are must in everyone’s diet. The contribution of antioxidants is at the top than vitamins, minerals and proteins. So the antioxidant property of watermelon is the best health benefit for us.

All watery fruits and veg are good antioxidant foods. Cucumber, celery, lettuce, oranges, melons, tomatoes etc. But people often say whats the point of eating something that is clearly at least 90% water based?
Well it’s not only full of essential vitamins and minerals but has the important and not so widely understood benefit of introducing enzymes into our bodies. These are present in all uncooked foods especially these ‘watery foods’. Enzymes are a living thing and when they enter the body they trigger our own enzymatic activities of which there are over 200 going on in our bodies. Some enzymes are involved in our immune system and if we can trigger those to function more effectively then we are creating our own internal preventative medicinal system which will take care of us and keep us from illness. Sounds good eh?
