Benefits of Banana

Eating more and more fruits is good for health.  But eating banana on daily basis may help you in various aspects. Banana has so many health benefits other than providing you energy. Today I am going to write on some health benefits of banana.

Banana is very helpful to overcome depression. Banana contains tryptophan which helps to convert aminoacid to serotonin and this leads to your mood improvement from depression.

Constipation and diarrhea can also be treated with the help of bananas. Banana is rich in fiber which helps our body to overcome from constipation and diarrhea. It also provides potassium which may be reduced by diarrhea.

Good news for drinkers. Banana is also helpful to overcome hangovers. In the morning make a glass of banana shake with honey. Drinking this may help you to get some energy and to overcome hangovers also.

Banana is also helpful to quit smoking. As all of us know that quit smoking is not an easy task but banana is helpful for this. The B6, B12 they contain as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Ulcer may also be treated with the help of bananas according to the latest research. They seem to act as a natural antacid and lead to ulcer treatment.

It’s necessary to keep bananas fresh. Keeping bananas at room temperature is the best way to keep them fresh. Never put them in refrigerator. You can also use brown paper for green bananas to ripen.
